Is tree loss associated with cardiovascular-disease risk in the Women's Health Initiative? A natural experiment

Loss of trees from EAB was associated with an increased risk of CVD. Although this study only focused on the loss of trees and not the prescence of trees, it would seem reasonable to conclude that planting and retaining trees would have a positive impact on public health.
