Attendees of Remember Everybody's Different) Day (R.E.D.) learned about the mental health benefits of trees and the science behind how trees reduce stress levels.

Lindsay Neumann, Urban & Community Forestry (U&CF) Partnership Coordinator with the Georgia Forestry Commission, provided the group with Healthy Trees, Healthy Lives self-guided forest therapy cards developed by Texas A&M Forest Service. The cards are a how-to guide for utilizing the full benefits of spending time with trees.

The event was hosted by the Community Service Board of Middle Georgia and the City of Dublin, Georgia, for individuals with developmental disabilities.
